CA Foundation Syllabus and Course Highlights 2024

Here we have shared ICAI CA Foundation syllabus 2024 highlights:
  • To be eligible to take the exam, candidates must finish the CA curriculum for each course within the allotted time.
  • The Foundation ICAI CA exam is given in December and June.
  • The CA Foundation exam will be held in September starting in 2024.
  • Applicants may sign up for the CA Foundation exam based on their course level and eligibility.
  • Until they pass the CA Foundation level, candidates are not allowed to advance to the next level of the course.
  • Passing marks of CA Foundation exam is 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 40 per cent in each paper.
  • Every question carries 1 mark. There is negative marking of 0.25 in subjective type questions.

CA Foundation Eligibility 2024

There are a few requirements to satisfy before enrolling in CA Foundation. Examine the following points or the same:
  • You must have passed the 12th examination or an equivalent course recognized by the board.
  • If you are a student in the commerce sector, you must have a minimum score of 50% in your 12th grade.
  • If you are coming from another field, you must have a minimum of 60% in your 12th grade. CA Foundation does not have an age limit for enrollment.
