ACCA Exemption Benefit

It may not be necessary for you to take all of the tests required for the ACCA Qualification if you already hold some credentials. You will begin your study and pay your ACCA exam fees at the appropriate level for your knowledge and skill thanks to what the ACCA refers to as exemptions.

Following are Most Common Exemptions Available:

ACCA Exemptions for B.Com and M.Com Qualified Students

Students who already hold a B.Com. or M.Com. degree are not eligible for the ACCA’s F1 to F3 knowledge level or F4 competence level.

  • F1 – Business and Technology (BT)
  • F2 – Management Accounting (MA)
  • F3 – Financial Accounting (FA)
  • F4 – Corporate and Business Law (LW)

ACCA Exemptions for BBA Qualified Students

Students who have already earned a BBA degree are excluded from the F1 subject of the ACCA knowledge level.

F1 – Business and Technology (BT)

ACCA Exemptions for MBA Qualified Students

Students who have already earned an MBA are excluded from the F1 through F3 subjects of the ACCA knowledge levels.

  • F1 – Business and Technology (BT)
  • F2 – Management Accounting (MA)
  • F3 – Financial Accounting (FA)

ACCA Exemptions for CA Students:

ACCA Exemptions for CA Foundation Students

  • No exemptions

ACCA Exemptions for CA IPCC Qualified Students

F1 through F3 subjects, as well as F6 and F8, are not required for CA IPCC-approved candidates. The student will also be excluded from F4 – Corporate and Business Law (LW) if he or she has finished BCom or MCom in addition to IPCC.

  • F1 – Business and Technology (F1)
  • F2 – Management Accounting (MA)
  • F3 – Financial Accounting (FA)
  • F6 – Taxation (TX)
  • F8 – Audit and Assurance (AA)

ACCA Exemptions for Qualified CAs Students

All subjects at the Knowledge and Skill levels are not required of CA Final Qualified Students. Students who meet the prerequisites for the ICWA or ICMAI will also be granted all the above-mentioned exemptions, subject to specified work experience.

  • F1 – Business and Technology (BT)
  • F2 – Management  Accounting (MA)
  • F3 – Financial Accounting (FA)
  • F4 – Corporate and Business Law (LW)
  • F5 – Performance Management (PM)
  • F6 – Taxation (TX)
  • F7 – Financial Reporting (FR)
  • F8 – Audit and Assurance (AA)
  • F9 – Financial Management (FM)
