Preparation Strategy For CA Final Group 1 Nov 24

Do you want to do well in the CA Final? If so, this is the appropriate platform for you.
CA Exams for finals are never simple. It is one of the hardest tests, and in order to fulfill their desire of having the prefix “CA” added to their names, students must adopt a more calculated and methodical approach. We have around four months to prepare for the tests as they start in the first week of November.

As you know, CA Final Group 1 includes three subjects:

  • Financial Reporting
  • Advanced Financial Management
  • Advanced Auditing & Professional Ethics

In which the former two subjects (FR & AFM) are practical and latter (Audit) is theoretical.

Specific Points to Know for Nov 24 CA Final Exams:-

For the First time Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) are Applicable for all 3 Subjects – FR, AFM & Audit
Advantage: Full marks on the correct answer. Will be helpful in achieving the pass marks and aggregate.
Disadvantage (if you want to think one): Compulsory question with no choice. Will require in-depth study.

Group 1 Preparation Strategy :

Studying one theory paper and one practical paper at a time is what we would recommend. Additionally, split the month of July through October into four sections. Below is an explanation of the plan for each of the four phases

Few Important Points for Self Study

  • Examine each of the crucial topics and jot them down. chapter by chapter
  • Try to answer all of the pertinent questions listed in the Practice Manual, Revision Test Papers, and Past Year Papers.
  • Time management is crucial for the CA Finals since students sometimes run out of time to complete their assignments even when they know the answers. Therefore, practicing questions in a timed setting is advised.

  • Recognize the importance of grades and schedule your time commitment by topic.
  • Most importantly, go to work on your studies!

Oct 2024 Plan [Last Half Month before Exams]:-

First things first, review the critical topics that are also important for tests. Exams are not the time to skimp on topics; each one has a weight of 10–14% that cannot be disregarded.

A comprehensive review of every subject and note-making for the exam day. Exam Day
Revision: The most significant aspect of the CA Finals is the day before the tests, when nearly all of the topics must be reviewed or given a quick overview.

Instead of referring to large volumes on exam day, it is best to make one page notes for each topic that you can refer to a day before the exam.
With only one day remaining before your exam, make sure to only go through the important points and have a good sleep!
