Eligibility Criteria for CA Foundation
The CA Foundation exam, which is the first level of the CA course to become a certified chartered accountant, is around the corner. The Institute of chartered accountants of India conducts and regulates this exam. ICAI has opened the registration for the upcoming session of December 2022.
Students who have cleared the standard 12th exams are eligible to appear for the CA Foundation. A whole of four months of preparation time is given to the students after registration for the CA Foundation level.

CA Foundation Exam Pattern:
An Aspirant should be well informed about the exam pattern of any exam before even thinking to start their preparation. When it comes to the CA Foundation exam, the first two papers that are accounting and law are subjective while the other two, Mathematics and Economics are objective type with Multiple choice questions. As per the revised scheme of ICAI Foundation, negative marking of 0.25 shall be applied to the objective papers.
A detailed and revised CA Foundation exam pattern has been updated by ICAI. It is advisable to follow the revised pattern by all the students before starting the CA Foundation exam preparation.
